Dr. Sanjay Patel, D.M.D., Dentist
Dr. Sanjay Patel received his undergraduate degree from the
University of Tennessee
at Chattanooga in Chemistry, then continued on with his studies at
Temple University School of Dentistry
in Philadelphia, PA. He received his dental degree in 2000 with honors.
He moved to Atlanta in 2000, and began with The Dental Group located in Morrow, GA as an associate. He went into private practice in Marietta, GA in 2002. Dr. Patel is a member of the
American Dental Association,
Georgia Association of Dentists,
the
Academy of General Dentistry,
the
Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation,
and the
American Academy of Implant Dentistry.
Dr. Patel is married and has two screaming children. In his free time he enjoys golfing, talking about golfing, reading about golf or watching golf or watching golf on television and devouring massive bags of peanut M&Ms.

Sue Phelan, R.D.H., Dental Hygienist
Sue is the office hygienist. Small, but mighty, she attacks plaque and calculus with a vengeance. Patients love her gentle touch and many have commended on her ability to put them at ease for a stress free cleaning. Kids love to have her clean their teeth because of her soft touch, as well as the fact that she is also close to their size. In her spare time, she enjoys working out, chasing her cat, and doing home repairs.

Markita (Thomas) Chavez, Dental Assistant
Markita is a dental assistant and has been part of the team since 2004. She attended ACT, a technical college here in Atlanta. Markita brings a nice glow to the office with her warm personality, and the beautiful smile she has at all times. During her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband (who is very famous), helping him DJ, and hanging out with her friends, which includes bats.

Adrianne Righter, Treatment Coordinator
Adrianne is the first voice and face that you will hear and see as you walk through the door. As you will find out, she has a very outgoing and bubbly personality, and loves to talk (and talk, and talk). She makes our patients feel like family, and keeps the spirit of the office alive. In her spare time, she enjoys chasing her husband (as well as two young children), softball and taking care of exotic animals (including her husband).

Diana Moore, Dental Assistant
Diana puts our patients at ease with her sweet demeanor, and makes them feel at home. Diana has never met a stranger, and will make you feel like she's known your forever, the first time you meet. People comment on how easy it is to talk to her and how she makes the importance of dentistry easy to understand. In her spare time, she enjoys soaking up the rays of the warm Georgia sun, and spending time with Fred, her new husband.

Jill Pellerin, R.D.H., Office Hygienist
Jill has the unique ability to quickly and efficiently care for your teeth and gums, while making you feel like she is spending all the time in the world with you. She has a gentle touch, and receives many compliments on her abilities. She has recently fell in love with Facebook and in her free time enjoys commenting on everyone's walls (especially Mark's), triathlons, and staying very, very, very fit.

Bina Bhakta, Office Manager
Bina is our office manager. She spends most of her day ensuring that patients feel welcome and at ease in the office. She runs the office with an iron fist, and keeps Dr. Patel moving in a timely fashion.
Her spare time is spent assisting with heart surgery (she is also a physician assistant) and keeping up with 2 small children who manage to run her ragged (as only small children can). Bina is also the financial advisor, and is happy to assist you with any questions regarding payment for services. (As nice as we are, we do expect you to pay your bills).
